These are some pictures of my multi-band microwave transverter. The original plan was to include 2.3GHz and 10GHz but this never happened because, as you can see, I ran out of room! I included a 12v SLA battery in the unit to keep the 10MHz OCXO powered up when an external 12v supply is not available (e.g. during transport).

LO = apolLO-32 board from N5AC referenced to a 10MHz Isotemp OCXO.
23cm = Minikits transverter and 1 watt PA.
13cm = Minikits transverter and 2 watt PA.
9cm = W1GHZ transverter design and 2 watt Minikits PA.
6cm = W1GHZ transverter design and 1 watt Minikits PA.

The 6cm transverter never performed very well which I've put down to poor mixers. I suspect my attempt to reproduce the PCB was not as good as it needed to be. To try and make up the deficiencies I've added a receive preamplifier plus an extra transmit amplifier and filter stage.
